How do you feel about getting it right first time? When managing financial information, this is a critical skill. Are you someone that can handle challenging conversations?

You'll work well with our clients, providing enhanced customer service and ensure accounts are up to date. You're confident discussing money, putting your point across clearly and concisely.

Yours is a meaningful role assisting with queries, collecting out-standing monies owed and delivering all round service. This means we need your clear focus, desire to get the details right and a passion for process.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • You seek late premiums from Clients. You are a personal reminder to them so it's critical that you're adaptable and leave a positive impact on each encounter.
  • Recording and maintaining our records, your keen eye for detail and highly detailed admin skills ensure accuracy. We value that.
  • You are urged to bring up any issues with your Team Leader. They are there to support you, guide you and ensure you never face a challenge alone. We pride ourselves on being an open and honest culture.
  • As you're on the front line, we truly value your ideas. If you can suggest any improvements to the way that we work, we'd love to hear about them.
  • You will work with your wider team to help find the source of any 'un-allocated cash'. We promote collaboration on these tasks to make sure we don't miss any important details.
  • As a confident communicator, you'll often have to speak to branch directors and discuss any missing monies from their branches. You'll do this in a dynamic way, acting with the highest integrity and take pride in being sensitive to your audience.
  • You will use your analytical skills to deliver a monthly debtors status report to your branches highlighting any potential bad debt risks or issues. You have a good understanding of how your branches operate and you're there to build a more successful and financially stable branch.
  • You're a self-starter who is keen to ensure the whole team is performing at their best. You're happy to help with extra training and support for less experienced members of the team, thinking of innovative ways to help the message stick; striving for excellence with everything that you do.

Your Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • You're educated to GCSE standard or equivalent and have a deep working understanding of Microsoft Office.
  • Ideally, you have strong Business to Business Credit Control experience but we would consider other relevant and transferable experience too. We love the fact that you have worked within the market.
  • You are numerate and can complete large complex reconciliations on Client accounts whilst spotting errors quickly.
  • Your professional attitude and strong presentation skills help to build and maintain strong, engaging relationships.
  • You're known for having an enthusiastic and dedicated attitude and your initiative and passion to succeed. You are results driven with an analytical problem solving approach and natural desire to succeed.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK
What we offer you:

We want Gallagher to be the organisation that all our people are proud to be a part of and where everyone can call themselves one of our team. Where our culture is accepting of difference, where you can be the best you can be and, perhaps most importantly, you can be you.

We are all different in some way. If we were all the same, and all thought the same, we would be vulnerable as a group. By welcoming and encouraging diverse opinions and backgrounds within our organisation, we will have a healthier, more innovative and ultimately more profitable business.

If this sounds like somewhere you’d like to join, please get in touch. If you require flexibility for a role you are applying for, we'd love to hear from you.
