We are keen to hire a committed Compliance Business Partner. Using your initiative in a variety of challenging environments within our fast growing business. 

 

With a professional, strategic and operational attitude, you ensure our business is aligned with appropriate systems and controls.

 

You come from a similar background with robust experience gained in a financial services setting. 

 

Your Role:

  • Balance business opportunities against complaint risks, maximize corporate performance and minimize financial, regulatory or reputational loss.
  • An ambitious expert with an eye for business, deliver against set targets whilst actively contributing towards wider company objectives.
  • Work with relevant divisions to provide support, advice and expertise on our compliance framework. 
  • Create and embed policies and procedures whilst guiding the business to spot, assess and manage compliance risk.
  • Develop and implement an effective framework supported by risk based policies and processes designed to deliver compliance.
  • Provide compliance work stream support on business-led projects and M&A integration projects.
  • Technical experience of UK regulatory framework, ideally as it applies to insurance brokers.
  • Evaluate and analyse key external trends and influences ensuring a wide range of information is available to support and improve compliance strategies.

 


Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of compliance practices and techniques and governing regulations. Ideally you’ve got robust experience within an insurance broking or underwriting environment. 
  • We are seeking an ambitious individual that is educated to degree level or equivalent with superb communication skills. 
  • You possess a natural ability to take complex information and translate this clearly to your audience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in communicating effectively with all levels of the Company, including senior level management.
  • You're a strong people manager with a pragmatic approach in knowing and applying regulatory requirements. 
  • Taking a hands-on, dedicated approach and using your honed problem solving skills to achieve business outcomes adopting and spreading the right culture and behaviours.
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
