The HRCC team is looking for a Compensation Consultant to join their growing practice. This position will manage key components of physician compensation projects which include:

 

Project Management
  • Participate in client project planning meetings. Manage components of complex projects to meet client expectations and deadlines.
Research and Analysis
  • Analyze compensation practices of client organizations to determine their competitiveness, fairness, and effectiveness.
  • Analyze survey data to determine competitive levels of pay for health care executives and/or physicians.

Design & Development of Compensation Programs and Models

  • Design new incentive compensation programs. Develop and test Cash Compensation Models.
  • Develop recommendations for strengthening and/or restructuring clients’ compensation programs.
  • Write reports presenting analyses and recommendations.
Client Interaction
  • Interview executives and/or physicians to learn their perceptions of current compensation, benefit programs, and/or acquisition strategies and to ascertain and assess company strategies, plans, goals, management style and culture.
  • Conduct calls and meetings with clients and present reports and recommendations.


Requirements are:

  • MBA/MHA from a reputable program or strong quantitative background with equivalent experience in health care administration or consulting
  • 2+ years of healthcare or consulting experience, or a strong background in finance or health care operations.
  • A good understanding of health care organizations and economics.
  • Substantial prior analytical experience.
  • Analysis of executive and/or physician compensation desirable, but not necessary.
  • Strong professional written and oral communication skills
  • Good persuasion and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills and project management skills
