Position Summary:
To provide guidance and assistance the Health Management Practice Leader as well as GBS Sales and Service teams on topics related to wellness and healthy living.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design of wellness programs.
  • Creation and preparation of communication materials for internal and external use.
  • Participation in client meetings and prospect capabilities presentations.
  • Creation of innovative client solutions.
  • Marketing for best solutions to client Health Management needs.

Additional Considerations:

  • Stay up to date on local wellness vendor markets and insurance carrier wellness programs
  • Produce accurate and high impact wellness reports for clients and internal office staff
  • Design internal and external wellness program communication and educational materials including e-mails, flyers, brochures, posters, and social media campaigns
  • Design and support delivery of health and well-being programs to help clients improve the well-being and engagement of their employees, manage costs, and become a Destination Employer
  • Integrate the GBS Health &Well-being vision into all client projects in order to help clients achieve an optimum level of health through ongoing customized wellness activities
  • Assist branch office staff with analysis of claims data to determine group's health, and to provide recommendations and guidance to develop effective wellness program strategies
  • Ability to travel (25% travel)


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 or more years of experience in the Health/Wellness field 
  • 1 or more years of experience in the Employee Benefits/Health Insurance industries

Work Traits:

  • Must remain aware of new techniques and office procedures and be able to implement new procedures or changes in procedures with adequate instruction but minimal supervision. 
  • Must be able to prioritize tasks so that  deadlines are met and schedules are maintained smoothly. 
  • Must maintain favorable relationships with clients, vendors and other office staff.  
  • Must be able to produce accurate reports and complete necessary paperwork within timeframes established by office procedure for ongoing tasks and by the Supervisor for special projects
  • Self-starter and comfortable working in an autonomous environment
U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher's Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement, which require, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
