Our Team are seeking a dedicated and efficient administrator to become a part of their cohesive unit. The team handle investment, pension & protection business so there's a lot to learn.

You'll be providing first class support to the team, clients and other third parties where necessary. We'll be looking for a keen eye for detail, a real passion to get things right first time and ultimately, someone who takes pride in their role.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop positive relationships which will allow you to offer an efficient service to clients and manage their expectations.
  • Liaise with colleagues, other departments, clients and product providers to ensure that you deliver the requirements of the business and that you reach agreed deadlines.
  • You work in a friendly and highly organised team who provide a first class administration service to both internal and external clients; you'll assist with requests, queries and take care of routine correspondence and annual review notifications.
  • You are important to our work family and sit at the centre of a broad range of administrative and support services. Capable and confident written English skills and real passion when speaking to people on the telephone; you're keen to build meaningful relationships that matter.
  • Using your super interpersonal skills, you'll liaise comfortably with colleagues and peers; at times you'll deal directly with providers. A confident telephone manner and excellent listening skills are a requirement.
  • Processing of new business applications within service and compliance standards. Following processes and recommending improvements to deal with clients efficiently and cost effectively.
  • Assist with identifying how we can improve client profitability or new business opportunities for the Consultants to follow up. We'd love to hear your ideas.
  • Ensure all records are present, correct and updated - it's an essential part of the industry we work in. Can you think of a better way to do something? We would love to know your ideas and how we can constantly improve our methods. You ensure operational effectiveness by taking pride in achieving the best outcomes.
  • You will carry out your duties whilst following our internal policies and procedures. We focus heavily on applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and our shared values. We take a real pride in putting clients at the heart of our business.

What are we looking for?

  • Your role requires you to have a good standard of general education including Maths and English, coupled with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

  • If you have proven experience within the financial planning arena, that would be a huge advantage - although this aspect will be developed over time with training.

  • We are keen for you to keep up to date with industry changes and regulation, be IT literate and familiar with office administration systems.

  • Proven Financial Services administration experience with strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels. High level accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work.

  • You work well under pressure and without supervision. You have a positive outlook and adopt an excellent attitude towards new challenges.
