How will I contribute to the business?

 

As the Benefit Analyst, you will collaborate with Sales and Account Management teams to provide underwriting, marketing, and benefit plan analysis and support. You will review sensitive health care utilization/ claim information and preforming financial analysis to help determine what types of coverage your clients could potentially benefit from.


  • You will compile census data and/or financial information as required to prepare RFP
  • You will analyze and organize heath care utilization data from your clients
  • You will create benefit and rate comparisons as well as total cost exhibits to help your clients make data driven decisions
  • Submitting, reviewing and comparing RFP responses
  • Preparing and presenting materials for annual planning, renewal and marketing results
  • You will have direct customer contact and be the face/voice of Gallagher
  • You love building and maintaining effective relationships with client contacts, retaining those accounts and helping to see their benefit strategy come to life
  • You love to stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes
  • You will foster positive working relationships with all internal departments and personnel and be an active participant in promoting a strong office culture

Do I have what it takes to be considered?


  • Bachelor's degree and minimum 3 years related experience
  • Proficiency with software programs- such as excel, and mathematical calculations
  • Strong PC and Microsoft application skills, including Word and Excel
  • Basic understanding of medical insurance concepts
  • Excellent oral and written communication ability

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.  For U.S. employment opportunities, Gallagher hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization.
