Job Purpose:

  • Senior Designer/Lead Creative to interpret client’s briefs and produce top quality design solutions
  • To support the Creative Director and Consultants as required
  • To be confident liaising with clients, in the UK, Europe and Rest of the World and build our creative offering

Activities include:
  • Work with the Creative Director to ensure the design work exceeds client expectations.
  • Work alongside a team of designers across multiple projects and on-going timelines.
  • Collaborate with UX, Consultants and Developers to ensure the project runs smoothly
  • Have a creative and strategic mindset and lead projects from brief to delivery
  • Mentor more junior members of the team
  • Responsible for delivering consistent and effective designs across a variety of media, including print, digital and online.
  • Working quickly and accurately, creating faultless artwork under tight deadlines and delivering creative work from concept / idea generation to final art and production delivery
  • Manage expectations by providing realistic timeframes for your work and communicating any setbacks along the way
  • Create proposals and pitch to clients with consultants and/or Creative director
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with key clients, ensuring delivery of high service standards at all times and be expected to liaise with clients, as and when required, in a professional manner.
  • All people in Gallagher Communications are expected to contribute to the running of the business.  This typically includes the following activities:
  • Timesheet management
  • Resource control
  • Expenses management
  • Learning & Development – personal and others
  • Other usual activities
  • Carry out duties following  internal policies and procedures in accordance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, in particular, putting clients at the heart of our business.

  • Enviable portfolio
  • Hons Degree in Art & Design/ Advertising/ Communications or relevant industry experience
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships at a client level and to team work across boundaries (geographical and functional)
Technical Knowledge
  • Excellent Adobe CS skills and strong with Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge design for web (sketch & Invision)
  • Excellent understanding of design/layout/typography.
