Gallagher Re is looking for a Change Manager, to be part of the Global Operations team and will be responsible for the delivery of all aspects of change management. You will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. You will support project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans. The change manager will focus on the people side of change.

 

Your primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and mitigate resistance. You will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of expected results and outcomes.

 

As a change manager you will collaborate with and work through many others in the organization to succeed. You may act as a coach for senior leaders and managers in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor. Where relevant the change manager can also provide direct support and coaching to all levels of managers and supervisors as they help their direct reports through transitions.

 

 

Your Role:

 

  • Build and own operational change implementation plans
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans
  • Complete change management impact assessments
  • Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
  • Identify and manage anticipated resistance
  • Consult and coach project teams
  • Create actionable deliverables for change management levers
  • Support and engage senior leaders
  • Coach managers and supervisors
  • Coordinate efforts with other specialists
  • (If required) support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness
  • Manage stakeholders
  • Track and report issues
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
  • Support change management at the organizational level
  • Be the Gallagher Re change management representative at a Gallagher group level
  • Support efforts and the design, development, delivery of change management communications

 

Your Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

 

  • A demonstrable track record of leading organisational change delivery
  • Experience with large-scale organisational change efforts
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • a strong team player and capable of working effectively at all levels
  • Shares business insights, experience and change management expertise
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences and the ability to establish, build/balance and maintain strong relationships through all levels and roles
  • Forward looking, problem solver, organised and capable of planning strategy and tactics
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges
  • Change management certification or designation desired
  • Experience of working in globally distributed teams
  • (Re)Insurance broking domain knowledge
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Eligible to work in the UK
