The position
 

We are currently looking for a highly-motivated individual who will bring passion, enthusiasm and commitment to this important claims management role.  As next level support, you will be responsible for providing essential information and assistance to ensure the smooth and accurate processing of personal injury claims.  To be successful in this role you will maintain excellent customer relationships, have high-quality communication skills and ‘second-to-none’ attention to detail.

 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Managing a portfolio of work and non-work related injury claims, providing information and assistance to injured employees and their employers

  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with injured employees, employers and providers

  • Making clinical assessments of injuries and determining the appropriate level of entitlements within the provisions of the Act

  • Arranging case conferences and claims reviews
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation

The person
 

We want you to be successful, therefore as a minimum you’ll need: 

  • Ideally, at least 12 months’ insurance industry or ACC experience

  • You will be familiar with process improvement and have a strong background in customer service

  • Fantastic communication skills, allowing you to build an easy rapport with customers and your colleagues

  • Great time management where you can demonstrate you can juggle multiple priorities with ease

  • Be computer and systems savvy
  • Positive and hard-working attitude
