The position
We are currently seeking a Business Account Manager to join our office located in Melbourne’s CBD.  This is a permanent, full time position working alongside our Worker’s Compensation team.
Reporting to the Client Relationship Manager, the main roles and responsibilities of the Business Account Manager position include:
  • Being responsible for servicing your portfolio of corporate clients, with the objective of improving retention, client satisfaction and profitability
  • Supporting your team members and manager in the delivery of high quality customer service to new and existing clients
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with wider business units and supporting GB’s claims management team with strategic client interaction to support claim outcomes, and ensuring client service standards are maintained
  • Delivering services to your clients in accordance with the GB Client Service Menu
  • Resolving escalated complaints in accordance with company guidelines
  • Identifying client needs to improve satisfaction
  • Working collaboratively with Claims subject matter experts in reviewing performance data and implementing best practice injury management and safety programs to address performance anomalies and developing strategies for client performance improvement
  • Identifying ‘at risk’ clients and implement retention strategies to mitigate loss
  • Leveraging existing client relationships to identify new business opportunities
What we are looking for:
  • A high level of experience dealing with clients and other employer representative stakeholders
  • Claims and legislative experience relevant to the Worker’s Compensation industry will be held in high regard
  • Client Relationship Management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of general business and administrative practices.
  • Solid understanding of business financial drivers
  • Experience presenting to executive level clients
  • Strong analytics ability
