It is likely that you will either be ambitious Graduate with a few years of work experience under your belt, or a seasoned professional in a Sales Support role. 

You will be responsible for providing your Board Director with the information needed to outperform the competition. You'll analyse critical data, provide market insight and make recommendations for which opportunities would be most successfully if we pursue them.   

Measures of success include

  • Enabling achievement of Sales Targets – by allowing the Sales team to focus on client and prospect contact, lead generation and prospecting
  • Enabling our sales people – by providing sales administration and support
  • Increasing sales – by creating and maintaining compelling bids, presentations and reports using the templates provided by marketing
 

This is a superb opportunity for someone with an analytical and commercial mind-set to build a highly successful career. You will have a personal mentor at Director Level who will provide you with coaching and development.

The Role:

  • Getting curious and pulling together a range of information relating to market movements and opportunities.

  • Coordinate the activity and data reporting for internal and external connections

  • Carry out a variety of support and administration tasks to allow the Sales team to maximise their time on client/prospect interaction

  • Prequalify and validate potential sales opportunities for the Sales Team to progress.

  • Establish effective relationships across the organisation, business areas and clients in order to deliver successful outcomes, manage expectations on work being undertaken, and ensure agreed deadlines are met

  • Proof reading and proof checking of sales material

  • Contribute to and encourage ideas or improvements to current sales activity

  • Attend internal or external meetings as required, and manage action points

  • Record and produce meeting notes for Sales meetings

  • Assist with the reporting responsibilities of the Sales & Marketing Director

  • Utilise sales technology tools such as IBIS World, Artesian Solutions, D&B Avention to drive Sales Team effectiveness and support Sales team with same

  • Act as Salesforce champion for Sales and Marketing

 

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Demonstrable administration experience of supporting a busy and professional sales team

  • Event planning and co-ordination experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all areas of work

  • Excellent organisation skills, with ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimal day to day supervision

  • We would love you to be at a graduate level or equivalent

  • You're in your comfort zone when working to deadlines. You adapt and anticipate to the needs of other quickly grasping and interpreting salient information.

  • Keen to learn how our business works and add value to it by compiling and analysing salient information and turning it in to a story. This understanding will put you in an exceptionally strong position to build a career with us longer term.

  • Task focussed and keen to action meeting outcomes you use your proven knowledge to recognise new sales opportunities and make your recommendations accordingly. This is when having meaningful client relationships will prove essential.
