Position Summary:

The Art Account Manager is a pivotal role within Gallagher’s Art Department, our in-house creative agency. A chief liaison between assigned marketing stakeholders and the Art creative team, the Art Account Manager is responsible for providing the best possible creative experience for their internal clients.

For their marketing stakeholders, the Art Account Manager acts as a central project manager ensuring appropriate prioritization, effective resource allocation and ongoing transparency into Art projects. The “face” of Art, the role acts as the point of escalation and lead problem-solver for any challenges that arise – providing solutions that meet success criteria for both the stakeholder and the creative team.

For the Art creative team, the Art Account Manager acts as the internal client expert within Art – learning the assigned team’s businesses, industries, core programs and general competitive landscape. The role acts as a “first review” of work, prior to sharing outside of Art, representing their internal client’s point of view and providing feedback and direction as the accountable party for the overall success of the relationship.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Establish and build strong relationships with assigned marketing stakeholders and across entire Art Department
  • Exemplify a positive approach and drive an open dialogue with marketing stakeholders and ART creative team to suggest, explore and deliver world-class marketing creative
  • Lead Art creative process for assigned projects including reviewing creative brief, scheduling intake meeting, mapping project timing, scheduling creative kickoff meeting, ensuring adherence to deadlines by both Art and the stakeholder, and closing out release process
  • Maintain status across all projects with consistent communication and reviews with assigned marketing stakeholders
  • Act as a champion for assigned team, representing their point of view within ART by voicing their expectations and anticipating their needs and challenges
  • Act as a champion for Art, representing all Art team members when in front of marketing stakeholders, showcasing the team’s talent and creative expertise, and thoughtfully protecting its resources

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in B2B marketing.
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Workfront or other project management software/applications.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent time management & organizational skills.
  • Insurance industry or benefits consulting experience a plus
  • Creative or design background a plus
  • Strong technical skills across Microsoft Office Suite and project management software / applications
  • Proven record of successfully managing complex and/or multiple projects to completion
  • Experience creating and managing detailed work plans based on defined scope and objectives
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills  
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with colleagues, managers, executives, and stakeholders; skilled in developing effective relationships within and across teams
  • Strong organizational skills, detail oriented with an ability to think strategically and make recommendations

U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization
  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
