Accounts Receivable Intern

Job Details:

Employment Status: Internship

Job Location: Brownsville, TX

Hours of Operation: Monday – Friday 8 am – 5 pm

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with verification of daily deposits

  • Assist with research and resolution of deposit discrepancies

  • Communicate with sales field via phone or email as necessary

  • Collect data and prepare monthly metrics

  • Prepare journal entries for adjustments needed

  • Assist with month-end closing

  • Research requested information by using available resources

  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential

  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience


  • High School or GED Required, Technical accounting education/training or equivalent

  • Knowledge of accounts receivable

  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written

  • Proficient in relevant computer software (QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Excel and Word)

  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills

  • Planning and Organizational Skills

  • Language: English required, bilingual preferred
