How will I impact the business?

 

As the Account Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day account management of our largest and most complex client accounts.

 

·         You will build, expand, and cultivate relationships with existing clients.

·         You will have consultative conversations with your internal client partners (Production/Sales Staff) to ensure that your client strategy is aligned and executed

·         Your focus will be on client retention and relationship management. We hope that you will feel confident enough in your relationships to uncover additional opportunity to cross-solve and drive the sale of additional services and coverage levels

·         You will cultivates relationships with most senior buyer in the client organization as well as with day-to-day client representatives and buyers. You know who your decision makers are and can quickly solve problems.

·         You will foster positive working relationships with all internal departments and personnel and be an active participant in promoting a strong office culture

·         Your contribution will range from administrative to strategic and your ability to understand the impact of both will make you an asset to our team

What skills are important to be successful in this role?

·         We hire critical thinkers who can jump in and quickly diagnose critical issues

·         Holds a deep understanding of the importance of professional business correspondence via e-mail/writing

Do I have what it takes to be considered?

  •   Bachelor's degree and 3 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience -or —High school diploma/GED and 8 or more years client coordination and/or claims management experience
  •     Insurance brokerage experience is preferred, but not required. Will also consider applicable candidates from insurance carriers/financial services.
  •     Able and willing to travel when business demands
  •     Consider yourself and expert in the Microsoft Suite and can manage your Outlook inbox with ease

  • U.S. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.  For U.S. employment opportunities, Gallagher hires U.S. citizens, permanent residents, asylees, refugees, and temporary residents. Temporary residence does not include those with non-immigrant work authorization (F, J, H or L visas), such as students in practical training status. Exceptions to these requirements will be determined based on shortage of qualified candidates with a particular skill. Gallagher will require proof of work authorization
  • Must be willing to execute Gallagher’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement which requires, among other things, post-employment obligations relating to non-solicitation, confidentiality and non-disclosure
