Job Purpose:


Responsible for driving revenue growth in the European region by building and maintaining valuable relationships with prospects and client through understanding their global business and associated human capital needs.  This is delivered by consulting with clients in the areas of global benefits, HR & global mobility services and solutions that manage risk, cost and facilitate a healthy and engaged global workforce while growing Gallagher’s share of the market.


  • Produce revenue through sales to new and existing multinational clients with emphasis on mid to large companies with high revenue within the European region. 
  • Revenue may be delivered across all multinational disciplines however emphasis is placed on demonstrable pipeline development and conversion of package design and mobility management services for employees working internationally, from cross border commuters, remote foreign workers and assignees (short or long term) moving with family across the globe.
  • Ability to drive/maintain the proposition development of our global mobility advisory team and align service model delivery to best in class global mobility services, including financial, talent, data, technology, off-shoring and client service management.
  • Prepare and implement a sales plan to develop and manage a pipeline of business opportunities that reflect an appropriate mix of new clients and account expansion
  • Develop proposals that are fiscally sounds, reflect an appropriate investment in the client, and demonstrate the overall capabilities of Gallagher
  • Ensure a deep understanding of current and potential clients’ evolving business and global benefits, HR & global mobility needs
  • Convey deep technical expertise in helping clients evaluate opportunities to reduce cost, risk and improve the overall competitiveness of global benefits, HR & global mobility solutions
  • Ensure global analyses, solution designs and implementation plans address the unique needs of the client and deliver the expected value
  • Provide clear communication and guidance to other staff members on new client sales and service requirements
  • Assist, educate and develop other staff members in new client sales situations and existing client service requirements. 
  • Demonstrate strong team working and leadership traits
  • Line management responsibility for 1 UK based service team member (may manage other sales and client service team members as the team grows) and oversight of off-shore delivery team to ensure services are provided with quality and technical accuracy.
  • Apply industry solutions to new sales, additional sales to existing clients and account service
  • Lead sales initiatives to help promote our value proposition to the marketplace
  • Provides direction in account transfer situations
  • Develop and maintain interdivision/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture
  • Support Global Growth Leader and Practice Leader Initiatives, as well as, team and corporate initiatives


Plus any additional duties and responsibilities that may reasonably be expected to be undertaken in accordance with the role


  • Must have a high level of proficiency in global mobility tax
  • ATT (Association of Taxation Technicians ) qualification essential
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years related experience required OR High School Diploma/GED and 12 years’ experience or more.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Must be available to work “core” business hours, Monday through Friday, plus any additional hours required to fulfil the essential duties of the role Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience of sales and CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce)


  • Significant related work experience
  • Multilingual – Spanish, French, Italian, German, Dutch a plus
  • Professional designations and/or accreditations
