As a Trainee Account Executive, you will learn how to become an established Account Executive in time. You will have experience of working in a fast-paced environment, be happy and confident in communicating at all levels with the ability and hunger to learn.  We are also looking for experienced Account Executives who are looking for a change or to further develop their skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will process all aspects of a new policy, entering details onto our system, ensuring the correct terms are applied and issuing the documents.

  • You will deal with quotation referrals through our online system with the direction of your manager.

  • Process and issue renewal documents in line with policy terms ensuring the correct policy wording is issued.

  • Assist with customer queries relating to existing policies and liaise with brokers regarding potential new and existing policies.

  • You will organise your own workload and meet your performance targets as agreed with your manager.

  • Understand and apply fundamental legal and regulatory policy in relation to internal policies and the insurance contract as required

  • Comply with AJG Professional Standards Manual in accordance with statutory requirements for role with specific attention, but not limited to Managing Client information, Whistle Blowing and Treating Customers Fairly

 

Experience, Knowledge and Skills

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • Do you have good customer service focus and strong communication and interpersonal skills?

  • Good planning and analytical skills are essential when engaging with brokers and customers alike.

  • Accuracy and attention to detail will be key when creating documents to share with customers and brokers.

  • Eligible to work in the UK
