The position:
 
Due to continued growth, Gallagher Bassett are seeking an experienced Property/Home & Contents  Claims Consultant to join our brand-new corporate office located in the heart of Sydney CBD

 
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • End to end claims management;
  • Settling claims within client service instructions, company guidelines and delegated authority;
  • Building and developing external business relationships;
  • Attending client meetings where applicable;
  • Preparing Standard Client Reports within Service Instructions as required;
  • Achieve monthly productivity level as designated by management;
  • Comply with relevant legislation such as The General Insurance Code of Practice, and other relevant legislation / regulations and policy requirements;
  • Resolve complaints in accordance with company guidelines;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement;
  • Identify potential fraud/recovery indicators for claims where applicable

What we are looking for:
  • Strong end-to-end claims experience within a Property portfolio (minimum 2 years essential)
  • Excellent customer service skills;
  • The desire to learn and progress within this collaborative and talented team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • PC literate – Database and Microsoft Office
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
