The position
 
The team at GB is currently seeking an Administration Assistant to join our office located in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. This is a permanent and full time position working as part of our Claims Administration Team within the Worker’s Compensation department.
 
As a Claims Assistant, your responsibilities will include but won't be limited to:
  • Providing administrative support to GB’s claims management team
  • Enhancing the performance of the claims department by performing administrative tasks such as arranging appointments for injured workers, composing standard letters, maintaining spread sheets, document collation and responding to customer service queries
  • Driving your career by developing your legislative, technical and injury management knowledge through on the job learning and by attending internal/external courses as required

  • Administration experience/knowledge of general business and administrative practices
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a team-player attitude
