In Australia we have a long track record of experience working and partnering with emergency service organisations to develop and deliver successful innovative wellbeing program solutions. In 2019 in conjunction with the DPFEM (Department of Police, Fire & Emergency Management) and AT (Ambulance Tasmania) in Tasmania, Gallagher Bassett has launched an innovative program of services aimed at empowering eligible staff to enact positive behavioural change to their health and wellbeing. 


This wellbeing program will integrate with and complement the current DPFEM and AT health and wellbeing services. It combines a mix of proactive and preventative measures to detect and respond early to health and wellbeing risks that impact DPFEM staff. 


Gallagher Basset has an exciting opportunity for the right individual to become a part of this ground-breaking initiative from its launch, and be a part of shaping it for the future. This is a leadership role where your dynamic nature will see you influence the success of the program.

 

The position

 

Reporting to the Client Services Director and based in Hobart, we have a rare opportunity for an Account Manager – Government Agency that will see you employed by Gallagher Bassett, but sit onsite with the DPFEM and AT  in Hobart.  This is a part time, permanent role working 18.75 hours per week, with flexible hours/days to provide work/life balance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

 
  • Embed the client retention strategy, tailor and implement an account management plan for our client (you’ll also be identifying cross sell opportunities)
  • Manage and strategically enhance the client partnership which will establish GB’s position nationally in the Health and Wellbeing & Preventative Injury space.
  • Reporting and trend definition and analysis on an ad-hoc and monthly basis to allow GB and the client to gain insight into the performance and effectiveness of the program of work
  • Ensure Account Management complies and operates to the standards defined by the business
  • Ensure Salesforce records and data for all tiered clients mirror standards; and provide clear and quality reporting and client reviews.

What will you need to succeed in this position?

  • Key relationship management experience  within a corporate or government environment 
  • You are high energy, resilient and have the client/business relationship at the heart of everything you do.
  • You are a strong, mature and strategic thinker with outstanding communication and presentations skills. The sophistication, business acumen and commercial savvy to make you a credible client business partner
