Who We Are

In 2021 Crombie Lockwood was listed as an HRD New Zealand 5-Star Employer of Choice. This award was in recognition of achievements and initiatives across a range of aspects of the employee experience.

In 2020 we were named in the Top Insurance Workplaces list. The report recognised employers for excelling in areas including remuneration and training, diversity, access to technology, health and rewards schemes.

We are one of the largest insurance broking companies in New Zealand, yet we still maintain a strong client focus and the longstanding relationships our business is built on.

Our company started in the provinces, expanded across New Zealand, then gained international backing when we became part of Gallagher in 2014.

Why Work for Crombie Lockwood

We are active in caring for our communities and back initiatives that enhance, protect and restore New Zealand and the things that matter to New Zealanders. We are an official partner and supporter of Save the Kiwi, a national charity that aims to reverse the decline of the kiwi and create more kiwi-safe habitats. Our support has helped establish the Crombie Lockwood Kiwi Burrow, a specialist kiwi incubation, hatching and brooding facility.

We are also Principal Partner of Trees for Survival, a native tree planting programme that collaborates with local schools and communities to restore natural biodiversity and habitats across the country. In addition, we are a Gold Partner of 'LegaSea', a marine conservation organisation dedicated to the protection of our marine environment and fisheries.
