About the role

We're on the lookout for an energetic and responsive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic Recruitment team, based in our North Sydney office. 

This exciting opportunity will see you deliver a high-quality, end-to-end recruitment service to business leaders and hiring managers, bringing top-tier talent into the Gallagher business across metropolitan and regional locations.

You will lead requisitions through the process from role approval to onboarding, imparting your recruitment expertise to advise on suitable sourcing strategies for a range of vacancies from entry to mid-senior level.

This is a truly exciting and autonomous role, which will offer you the chance to grow your internal recruitment career within a growing, international organisation that is focused on the development of its people. 

About you

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • 3+ years end-to-end recruitment experience (internal or agency), ideally with exposure to insurance, financial services, consulting, sales or similar industry

  • Proven ability and agility to select and advise on appropriate sourcing channels and conduct proactive sourcing activity to attract passive talent

  • Embracing of new recruiting technologies and tools to improve employer market branding and enrich the overall recruitment service offering

  • Actively manage, lead and influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

  • Lead the whole candidate experience ensuring a high-quality experience including sourcing, recruiting, offer, onboarding and communication 

  • Results driven, well organised with high attention to detail 

  • Flexible attitude, able to adapt to suit conflicting priorities
