We currently have a great opportunity for a Risk and Assurance Business Partner in either our North Sydney or East Melbourne office. This role is integral in supporting the risk and compliance culture of the Australian business. 

What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Risk and Assurance Manager, this role will see you:
  • Delivering the Gallagher risk and assurance program across Australia. 
  • Developing audit and review programs 
  • Conducting review field work
  • Reporting on outcomes within Risk and Assurance
  • Delivering targeted business training

What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will be/have: 
  • Relevant Tertiary qualifications i.e. Business, Commerce or Law 
  • Experience in an audit and or risk role
  • Excellent analytical, reporting and presentation capabilities
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with internal stakeholders across the business
  • Efficient and effective work practices with high attention to detail
  • Availability for regular Australian wide travel 
It would also be ideal (though not essential) for you to be/have:
  • CPA, CA and/ or CISA qualified 
  • Experience in broking systems such as ibais, eglobal, Xplan etc. 
  • Experience in insurance with an understanding of insurance broking licensing
