About the role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager within the Sydney Corporate team who will maintain a portfolio of diverse clients. As an Account Manager you will cohesively manage a portfolio of client accounts, focusing on sustaining strong client relationships, developing new opportunities for growth and working with a highly collaborative team of Insurance professionals. We are seeking an experienced broker who can demonstrate these accountabilities:

•Maintaining strong relationships with an existing portfolio of small to medium sized accounts, based on demonstrated account management capability and professional client service delivery
•Advise clients on insurable risks, design appropriate insurance solutions and work with Insurers to manage and develop the best available placement for our clients
•Maintaining an awareness of all claim related matters and participate actively with claims team in the negotiation of equitable claims settlements on behalf of clients
•Generate initiatives toward maximising account profitability and securing ongoing new client relationships
•Developing and maintaining meaningful working relationships with Insurers and Gallagher subject matter experts

About You
•Solid account management experience in general Insurance broking or underwriting
•Thorough technical competency in a broad range of general Corporate insurance products
•Min. 4 - 5 years relevant experience
•Qualified Tier 1 Insurance Broking and/or Dip Fin Services (Insurance Broking) 
•Strong communicator who is sales oriented with excellent relationship building skills who thrives on building long term pipelines to support business growth
•Strong negotiation and influencing skills to ensure the best available outcome for our clients
•Highly skilled account management capability to meet tight deadlines, while working in a fast paced environment with changing priorities
