Fantastic opportunity to join Gallagher in its journey of growth! Manage your own mid-market/corporate portfolio of clients. 

What is the role?
Working within our Melbourne Corporate broking team of 23, this role will see you managing and contributing to, in a mid-market/large corporate portfolio of clients ensuring high quality service.

As Account Manager, you will:

  • Maintain and develop meaningful business relationships with new and existing clients
  • Describe insurable risk, design appropriate insurance solutions and negotiate and manage the best deal in the global insurance market
  • Develop and maintain meaningful working relationships with our underwriting partners
  • Manage and maintain your own budget, business plan and debtors 
  • Promote the Gallagher brand within the local business community, the region and nationally
What are we looking for?
To be successful in this role, you will be/have:
  • Experience within general insurance as a Senior Account Executive or Account Manager
  • Strong relationship building and account management skills
  • Your Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
  • Able to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Highly developed communication and negotiation skills and an intelligent approach to business
